• It will also be a key decision-maker in the review process during fabrication with only general supervision.
• Candidates must be able to perform at a high level during presentations in front of cross-functional, team panels with high literacy in technical report writing.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Physics with relevant work experience.
• Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Working knowledge of motors, bearings, brakes, and drives.
• Proficient in the use of 3D CAD modeling of design concepts using Solid Works software.
• Working knowledge of structural steel, concrete, and aluminum.
• Experience with finite element modeling and analysis (FEM/FEA).
• Experience in creating and reading design drawings from the conceptual level through fabrication/shop phases.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a group setting.
• Experience and ability to prepare documents, reports, and oral presentations.
